Bovine Endocrine Gland Derived Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor ELISA Kit

This sandwich-format ELISA kit from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of bovine EG-VEGF in serum, plasma, or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with detection via a biotinylated anti-EG-VEGF antibody, HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. Total assay time is 4h 30m.

The quantitative assay range is 15.6–1000 pg/ml with a reported sensitivity of 6.3 pg/ml. Manufacturer validation data across n=5 samples per matrix show average recoveries in undiluted serum (91%, range 80–102%), EDTA plasma (91%, range 81–101%) and heparin plasma (84%, range 80–89%). Dilution linearity is reported across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions in all three matrices.

Kit components include the pre-coated microplate, lyophilised standard, detection solutions A and B, wash buffer (30X concentrate), sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers, each stored at the temperature indicated (+4°C or -20°C).
