Bovine Deoxyribonuclease I ELISA Kit

Antibodies.com provides a sandwich ELISA (sELISA) kit for the in vitro quantitative determination of bovine Deoxyribonuclease I (DNase I) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, or other biological fluids. The assay employs a sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique using a pre-coated 96-well microtiter plate. Standards and samples are added to the wells, where DNase I is captured by the immobilised antibody. After washing, a Biotinylated Anti-DNase I Antibody binds the captured target, followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a blue colour that turns yellow upon addition of stop solution; absorbance is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader, and DNase I concentration is calculated from the standard curve.

The quantitative assay has a reported range of 0.781–50 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.32 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and not used past the expiration date.

Reported average recovery values include 91% for serum (n=5, range 80–102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (n=5, range 81–100%), and 84% for heparin plasma (n=5, range 80–89%). Dilution linearity data are provided for 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 dilutions across serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma samples.
