Bovine Connective Tissue Growth Factor ELISA Kit

A bovine-specific sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of bovine Connective Tissue Growth Factor (CTGF) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. Capture occurs on a pre-coated 96-well microplate, with detection via a Biotinylated Anti-CTGF Antibody, an HRP-Avidin conjugate and a TMB substrate. The reaction is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

According to the manufacturer's specification, the standard curve covers 62.5–4000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of <30.23 pg/ml, and the total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Reported mean recoveries in spiked samples (n=5 per matrix) were 91% for serum (range 80–102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81–100%) and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80–89%). Dilutional linearity across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions produced values generally within 74–108% of expected for all three matrices.
