From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit enables the in vitro quantitative determination of bovine TRAP/CD40L (CD40 Ligand) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated microplate and a biotinylated detection antibody with HRP-avidin and TMB substrate, producing a colour change that is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The standard curve covers a product range of 0.625-40 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.18 ng/ml. Recovery has been validated in serum (average 91%, range 83-100%, n=5), EDTA plasma (average 94%, range 91-98%, n=5) and heparin plasma (average 94%, range 90-99%, n=5). Dilution linearity has been demonstrated at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions across the same sample types.
