Bovine Casein Kappa ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com enables the in vitro quantitative determination of bovine Casein kappa in milk, with reactivity specific to bovine samples. The assay employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique, with an antibody specific for Casein kappa pre-coated onto a 96-well microplate. Standards and test samples are added to the wells, followed by a Biotinylated Anti-Casein kappa Antibody and then HRP-Avidin conjugate. After incubation and washing, TMB substrate is added and the resulting yellow colour intensity is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader. The density of yellow is proportional to the amount of Casein kappa captured in each well, allowing concentration to be calculated against a standard curve.

The quantitative, colourimetric assay runs on a pre-coated microplate in a 12 x 8 well strip format with a total assay time of 4h 30m. The product range is 0.312-20 µg/ml and the sensitivity is <0.101 µg/ml.
