Bovine B-Cell Leukemia/Lymphoma 2 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of bovine Bcl-2 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips. An antibody specific for Bcl-2 captures the target, after which a Biotinylated Anti-Bcl-2 Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate are added. Detection is colourmetric, using a TMB substrate that produces a yellow product readable at 450 nm on a microplate reader.

The kit is reported with a sensitivity of <0.66 ng/ml and an assay range of 1.56–100 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Sample recovery is documented in serum (range 83%–100%, average 91%), EDTA plasma (81%–101%, average 91%) and heparin plasma (83%–98%, average 90%). Linearity across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions has been demonstrated for each of these matrices.
