Bovine Angiotensin II ELISA Kit

This competitive Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (cELISA) from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of bovine Angiotensin II in serum, plasma, or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate format in which sample or standard Angiotensin II competes with immobilized antigen for binding sites on a biotinylated anti-Angiotensin II antibody, with HRP-avidin detection and TMB substrate read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Reported sensitivity is <8.46 pg/ml with an assay range of 31.2-2000 pg/ml and a total assay time of approximately 2 hours 30 minutes. Spike-and-recovery performance was evaluated in serum (n=5) at 85-100% with an average of 92%, in EDTA plasma (n=5) at 85-103% with an average of 94%, and in heparin plasma (n=5) at 87-99% with an average of 93%.
