Bovine Angiotensin I Converting Enzyme ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit enables the in vitro quantitative determination of bovine Angiotensin I Converting Enzyme (ACE) in serum, plasma, or other biological fluids. It is intended for use with a colorimetric microplate reader, with absorbance read at 450 nm.

The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microtiter plate, a biotinylated anti-ACE antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate, and TMB substrate. The quantitative range is 6.25–400 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <2.15 ng/ml, and the protocol is completed in around 4h 30m. Components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.

Recovery has been characterised for serum (n=5, range 80–102%, average 91%), EDTA plasma (n=5, range 81–99%, average 90%), and heparin plasma (n=5, range 80–89%, average 84%).
