Bovine Angiopoietin 1 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit enables the in vitro quantitative determination of bovine Angiopoietin 1 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The format uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with a capture antibody specific for Angiopoietin 1 immobilised on the wells. After sample addition and washing, a biotinylated anti-Angiopoietin 1 antibody is added, followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of stop solution, with absorbance read at 450 nm in a microplate reader.

The manufacturer reports an assay range of 0.625–40 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.195 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Recovery and dilution-linearity data are provided for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma samples.
