Bovine Amphiregulin ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of bovine Amphiregulin in serum, plasma, or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate (12 x 8 well strips) to which an antibody specific for Amphiregulin has been immobilised. Standards and samples are added, and bound analyte is detected using a biotinylated anti-Amphiregulin antibody followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate. The reaction is visualised with TMB substrate and the absorbance read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader.

According to the manufacturer, the assay has a detection range of 31.2–2000 pg/ml and a sensitivity of 12.8 pg/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Sample recovery ranges are reported as 80–102% for serum, 81–100% for EDTA plasma, and 80–89% for heparin plasma. Kit components are stored at +4°C or −20°C as indicated on the individual vials.
