Bovine Adrenomedullin ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit, supplied by Antibodies.com, is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of bovine Adrenomedullin/ADM in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate (12 x 8 well strips) with a biotinylated anti-Adrenomedullin/ADM detection antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate to generate a colourimetric signal read at 450 nm in a microplate reader.

The standard curve covers 15.6–1000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of <6.4 pg/ml, and the complete protocol takes 4 hours 30 minutes. Spiking recovery has been validated in serum (range 80–102%, average 91%, n=5), EDTA plasma (range 81–99%, average 90%, n=5) and heparin plasma (range 80–89%, average 84%, n=5). Dilution linearity at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 has been demonstrated across the same three matrices.

Kit components include lyophilised standard, detection solutions A and B, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and adhesive plate sealers, together with the pre-coated plate strips. Components should be stored at +4°C or −20°C as instructed.
