The particles are particularly well suited to cell sorting methods where a rat IgG antibody serves as the primary antibody. They can be used to separate cells of interest from a heterogeneous population using negative selection, and also serve as secondary antibodies in enzyme immunoassays and radioassays that utilise rat IgG primary monoclonal antibodies. The formulation supports easy magnetic separation, allowing rapid washing and reduced background in sample enrichment, immunocapture workflows, and downstream analyses that require magnetic separation.
