ASK1 (phospho Ser966) Cell Based ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this ASK1 (phospho Ser966) Cell-Based ELISA Kit is designed for the indirect in vitro determination of ASK1 levels in adherent and suspension cells. The qualitative assay uses Anti-ASK1 (phospho Ser966) capture antibodies detected by HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies, producing a colorimetric signal upon substrate addition.

The kit is reactive with Human (Ser966), Mouse (Ser973) and Rat (Ser973) samples, with no reported cross-reactivity. Three normalization approaches are described for analysing results: an included Anti-GAPDH antibody serves as an internal positive control; Crystal Violet whole-cell staining determines cell density so that absorbance values can be adjusted for plating differences; and an Anti-ASK1 antibody is provided to normalize the phosphorylated target absorbance against non-phosphorylated values.

Run on a tissue culture treated microplate, the assay takes 4 hours 30 minutes and is intended for use with samples exceeding 5000 cells. Kits should be stored at +4°C, where they remain stable for 3-6 months.
