Akt2 (phospho Ser474) Cell Based ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this Cell-Based ELISA Kit is an Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay designed for the indirect in vitro quantitative determination of AKT2 levels in adherent and suspension cells. The kit reacts with Human (Ser474), Mouse (Ser474) and Rat (Ser474) samples, with no reported cross-reactivity. It detects Akt2 (phospho Ser474) through Anti-Akt2 (phospho Ser474) capture antibodies, which are in turn detected by HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies, producing a colorimetric reaction upon substrate addition.

Several normalization methods are included: an Anti-GAPDH Antibody serves as an internal positive control, Crystal Violet whole-cell staining is used to determine cell density after the colorimetric measurement, and an Anti-Akt2 Antibody is provided for normalizing absorbance values to the non-phosphorylated target readings. The qualitative, cell-based assay uses a Tissue Culture Treated Microplate platform and is completed in 4 hours 30 minutes.
