ADCK1 Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA

This colorimetric cell-based ELISA from Assay Genie is designed for the accurate detection of ADCK1 (ADC Kinase 1) levels in cell lysates and tissue homogenates, with reactivity against human and mouse samples. The kit uses a lysate-free, high-throughput protocol to detect the ADCK1 protein expression profile in cultured cells and to screen the effects of various treatments, siRNA or chemical inhibitors, and activators.

The assay uses an indirect ELISA format in which ADCK1 is captured by target-specific primary antibodies, while HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies bind the Fc region of the primary antibody and catalyze a colorimetric reaction upon substrate addition. Detection is read at 450 nm, with a dynamic range of > 5000 Cells. Because the readout is qualitative, normalization relies on an included monoclonal anti-human GAPDH antibody as an internal positive control, with Crystal Violet whole-cell staining optionally used to determine cell density.
