Effectene Transfection Reagent is a non-liposomal lipid formulation designed for efficient DNA transfection into a broad range of cell types, including primary and sensitive cell lines. This reagent offers high transfection efficiency even in the presence of serum, requires low DNA amounts, and exhibits minimal cytotoxicity compared to many alternatives. It is particularly suitable for high-throughput screening applications. The kit includes 4 x 1 ml of Effectene Reagent, Enhancer, and Buffer, sufficient for 160 transfections in 60 mm dishes or 640 transfections in 12-well plates.
