    The Costar® 6.5 mm Transwell® with 0.4 µm Pore Polyester Membrane Insert is designed for advanced cell culture applications, providing a permeable support system that closely mimics in vivo conditions. This insert features a transparent, 10 µm thick polyester membrane treated for optimal cell attachment, ensuring excellent visibility under phase contrast microscopy. Each insert has a cell growth area of 0.33 cm² and is packaged with 12 inserts in a 24-well plate, with 4 plates per case. The recommended medium well volume is 0.6 mL, and the recommended medium insert volume is 0.1 mL. The membrane's nominal pore density is 4x10? pores per cm², and the membrane diameter is 6.5 mm.
